President Riehm recently conducted a visit to Tokyo, during which he met with the Chairman of the Japan Contract Bridge League, Mr Katsuro Hatoyama.
The meeting focused on strengthening the partnership between the two organizations and exploring future collaboration opportunities to promote bridge in Japan and worldwide.
During their discussion, they emphasized the importance of development programs to increase participation and support the growth of the sport in the region. The WBF President expressed appreciation for Japan’s ongoing contribution to international bridge and highlighted future collaborative efforts aimed at expanding the sport’s reach and appeal.
