On Monday 3rd April, in Aarhus, Denmark, the SportAccord Convention Week started with the ARISF (Association of the IOC Recognised International Federations) General Assembly.
The WBF was represented by the President Gianarrigo Rona and the Secretary Simon Fellus.
Francesco Ricci-Bitti, SportAccord Conference President and Patrick Baumann, SportAccord President welcomed the delegates, while Sir Craig Reedie, Wada President and Jenny Mann, IOC Head of sport partnerships and co-ordination, addressed the delegates.
The Assembly elected the Board for the quadriennium 2017-2021: Raffaele Chiulli, Italy (UIM Powerboating President), was re-elected President for his second term; Anna Harzhanova, Russia (CMAS Underwater President), was elected Vice President; Susanne Schödel, Germany (FIA Air Sport Secretary General), was elected Secretary General; Riccardo Fraccari, Italy (WBSC Baseball/Softball President), John Liljelund, Finland (IFF Floorball Secretary General) and Molly Rhone, Jamaica (INF Netball President) were elected members.
