The WBF is very saddened to hear of the death of Henry Francis, aged 91, on 1st August 2017.
Henry was Chief Editor for many of the World Championship Daily Bulletins, and had also been Editor of the ACBL Bridge Bulletin, as well as Editor of three editions of the Official Encyclopaedia of Bridge and of many World Championship books.
We will remember Henry as a great friend to bridge and the World Bridge Federation. Although he has not been present at the Championships in recent years he will be much missed by those who knew him.
